I am a microbiologist and genomicist broadly interested in understanding how natural variation at the genetic and transcriptional levels contributes to phenotypic diversity across related species of microbes.

Currently, I am a 6th-year Ph.D. candidate in the University Program in Genetics and Genomics at Duke University, working with Professor Amy Schmid. I uses multi-omics approaches and classical genetics to study the regulatory variation of carbon metabolism in salt-adapted archaea.
